EXPLORE YOUR SOUL’S PERCEPTION OF COLOR
SOUL FLOW VEIL PAINTING WORKSHOP
Your Soul is highly attuned to flows of light and color. Process is key, so you don’t need prior experience with painting.
You don’t need a preconceived idea or image, because in this technique, you learn to trust the paint as it flows, to reveal light, depth and shadow.
In essence, we’re using paint as liquid light. This calls for specific, highest quality artist-grade watercolor paint and paper, included in your payment below.
Lisa will introduce you to the nature of color according to Goethe–how it effects your psyche and interacts with space. You’ll be guided to explore color as energy and felt sensation, and trust your intuitive guidance to lead you through the process.
Nancy will “read the room,” creating a unique guided meditation to tune in to your intuition, so you can sense the flow and notice emerging patterns. We’ll allow the process to guide us, rather than aiming for a specific image.
At the end of the workshop, we’ll send you home with additional supplies of paint and paper, to continue to explore Soul Flow Veil Painting. Then, join us again, as we continue to offer ongoing Soul Flow Veil Painting workshops, open to newcomers and repeaters alike.
WORKSHOP PRICE: $147 (Includes $27 for luscious, high quality materials–enough for class and for you to take home, to continue painting)

- 140# Cold Press watercolor paper.
NOTE: Bring your own brushes and supplies below.
SUPPLIES TO BRING WITH YOU:
- 2 watercolor brushes, 3/4″, one flat, one round. (Feel free to bring additional brushes as desired.)
- rags or roll of paper towels
- 3 jars, 4 oz or smaller, with lids, to take paint home with you
- 2 jars (don’t need lids) to hold paint water
- jar lids or mixing trays

NANCY KERN is a Rice graduate with an MFA in painting from the University of Houston. She makes art to heal herself and accepts commissions to paint healing art for homes and offices. She has a private practice as a Spiritual Coach called Guided by Soul.

LISA ROSATO is an artist with a BFA in painting from the University of Houston. Through her years of painting practice, Lisa has developed an in-depth understanding of color as defined by Goethe.
A professional Lazure artist, Lisa paints unique wall treatments that create soul-nourishing interior environments. As a longtime student of Anthroposophy, she received certification in early childhood education from Sofia’s Hearth, taught art in grades 4 – 12, and served on the Board of Trustees for Waldorf Education for Houston.
Lisa currently works as a painter, private tutor, and teaches life drawing and painting from her home studio and on location.
